Reaching Ivry-sur-Seine from the parisian airports and back

Depending on the company you'll be flying on, your plane will either land in the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle or the Orly airport (Be careful not to book a flight landing on the Beauvais airport, since reaching it from the south of Paris is a considerable waste of time !).

Ivry is much closer to Orly than Roissy, so if you have a choice, you should book a flight landing there. Anyway here are the instructions for reaching Ivry from both airports.
  • If you plane lands in Orly: Congratulation ! Just take subway line 14 northward (toward St Denis), then in Maison Blanche take subway line 7 toward Mairie d'Ivry (that's a train with a yellow light) and get off at the final station.
  • If you plane lands in Roissy: Ok, it's a much longer trip (around one hour and half), but not very complicated. Just take the RER B line toward Paris, in St Michel-Notre Dame change for RER C toward Pont de Rungis or Massy Palaiseau and get off in Ivry-sur-Seine (once again, make sure your train stops there before boarding !). The total one-way fare costs 11,90 € and tickets can be bought at automats in the airport (be careful not to buy tickets for Paris, since they are not valid in Ivry, which is in zone 2).
When leaving Ivry for Roissy, take the RER C at the Ivry-sur-Seine station towards Paris, get off in St Michel-Notre Dame and take the RER B towards AĆ©roport Charles-de-Gaulle. Tickets can be bought at the RER station, and you should plan around two hours to reach the airport (once again it should be less but you're better safe than sorry...)
